WHAT DESIGN CAN DO

This documentary short film, created in collaboration with the architecture critic and writer Sarah Williams Goldhagen and filmmaker Mary Murphy presents projects from around the world that illustrate how psychologically sensitive, science-informed design materially promotes physical and mental health, learning outcomes and the social connections that build communities.

The film is meant to be a catalyst for change, urging viewers to rethink the role buildings play in our lives and the broader community. By showcasing the intricate relationship between architecture and its environmental, social, and psychological impacts.

We aim to elevate public consciousness and foster a deeper appreciation for the intentionality behind design.

And encourage educators, policymakers,

and industry professionals to use this film as a tool to inspire a new era of thoughtful, sustainable building practices that prioritize the well-being of people and planet.

The film is available in Spanish and English, watch it here:
